The sun was dipping low into the end of the day, light basting upon this home.
It was good timing,
I was consoled I hadn’t missed it..
The mid-winter’s day sent chills that swept alongside the house
and when I edged around the backyard, frostiness nipped at my fingers.
I circled around to the front, and dropped myself into my car for hand warmers.
Clasping my fingers into the warm bags, the light comforted.
